What are you up to, Kritika? -I am making pasta.
-How is it going? Hi, guys! Welcome to my channel! I am Tanya and I am in London right now on a vacation with two of my
really close friends. In case you haven’t watched
my Christmas special or my New Year’s special video you can go watch it,
I’ll be linking it in a card. Today’s my final day here and I’m going shopping today with
Kritika Khurana, aka, “thatbohogirl,” who’s a fashionista and a huge style icon. And this year I really
want to work on my personal style which is why I’m going shopping with her. You know, originally, I don’t really
like shopping too much because… A. I don’t like investing
in a lot of things. Because I feel like I want to
live a more minimalistic lifestyle, and a clutter-free lifestyle. And I only want to do things
or I only want to buy things that I actually end up using
in the long term, for a longer duration of time. But also because I don’t enjoy
the process of shopping as much. Which is why I’m grateful that I
have my friend to do it with me today. And on that note, I’m also collaborating
with a very cool brand called PLAY. And I am trying out their
headset: PlayGo BH70 which is going to be launching soon. It’s an AI-enabled headset. It’s super cool because it auto calibrates
the entire music hearing experience. to your own left and right
ear-hearing patterns. It also has some really cool features like
active noise cancellation so that if you’re in a noisy environment you can enjoy the
music experience, irrespective. Also, if you’re in a place
where you want to enjoy the ambient sound, you can do that as well. So, there are a bunch of modes,
you can connect it to an app, so, these headphones are honestly,
really good and a great experience. And, like I mentioned,
I only like investing in things that I can use for
a longer period of time. So, investing in something like this is surely going to be that one music
experience that you’ve been waiting for. So, I’m going to try it out,
throughout this day while shopping and let you know how my experience goes. So, if you also want to purchase it or you
want to invest in it, you can go for it. And besides that, I just woke up to this beautiful
apartment which is near Camden Town and I was having my morning tea. But I also have to get ready
and get out of the house. So, let’s just get started with the day. So, I’ve started off from my apartment and I’m going to meet
Kritika and Shivesh at Oxford Street where we’re going to be shopping.
They are already there. So, I’m going to take
an underground tube from here. And the first thing
I have to do is get to the tube station which is about 10 minutes away. Okay, so I’ve arrived at the tube station and the one thing I really liked about
these headphones, I just noticed it, that as soon as you put them on your neck,
it automatically pauses the song. So, there’s like an auto on-off feature. And, another thing is,
I’ve to reach out for my Oyster card, because you need these cards
to travel in the tube. So, gonna be doing that right now… from over here. So, now I am at
the Tottenham Court Station and this is where I get off at,
to reach Oxford Street. I’m already at Oxford Street and I’m going to reunite with
Kritika and Shivesh shortly, and start shopping with them. I’m very excited, looking forward
to meeting them especially because… we’re going shopping! After walking for almost 10 minutes,
I’m finally here with my friends. Hi! -We have reunited…
And we’re actually waiting in queue because these guys want to
eat at a place called sketch. -And…
-It’s very pretty! -Which is very pretty and popular.
-Very popular. But the queue over here is very long,
I mean, just look at it. And after that we’re going to shop. So, we’re still standing in the queue and we haven’t really got a table yet. I think it’s going to be another
15-20 minutes at least. I hope the food is absolutely
worth it because I’m starving. But I’ve been listening
to a podcast to kill time and the really good thing
about these headphones is there’s this smart touch-and-talk feature. So, if I want to talk to these guys, I can
just touch the left side of the headset and it automatically dims down
the music or the audio entirely. And you can talk,
and you can communicate, and you can listen to whatever’s
happening in the background. Guys, the other day we bought a bottle
of orange juice for just two pounds, and here it’s six pounds for a glass. That’s beautiful! Oh, gosh! Something very sad
happened to us at sketch. We waited 40 minutes in the queue and it’s already dark outside,
because here the sun sets at around 3:00. So, wow! And the place was not
even all that nice because… they weren’t serving lunch,
and we just had some coffee, some juice and that was about it,
and now I’m extremely hungry. So, we’re heading to… -Bella Italia!
-We’re gonna walk down to Bella Italia! I am so hungry!
Thank you. Yes, look for it on Maps. I feel that
is going to be a better alternative. Bella Italia! Finally! So, we’re done with our lunch-cum-dinner. We started at 3:00 and now it’s 6:00! And all we did was look for food
and eat to our heart’s content. And Bella Italia was really good. The pasta and pizza were nice.
Everything was pretty cool. And now we’re finally starting off
with our shopping spree. Where are you going to shop, Shivesh? Zara Home
and H&M Home. -Basically, all home decor?
-Yes. To buy nice plates and
bowls for your studio, right? -And where are we going, Kritika?
-We’re going to Bershka. -Then Topshop and then Primark.
-Done. We’ve arrived at the first store
in our list: Topshop. We bought some really
nice shoes from Topshop. I’m very excited about them. In fact, Kritika is already
wearing the pair she bought. I wasn’t wearing socks
so, now I have shoe bite. That’s why I am wearing these. It’s like a live display of the shoes! And we both got the same pair of shoes
so, we’ll be twinning in future. -Now, we’re heading to Bershka.
-Yes! Let’s do this! So, we went to Bershka and
I didn’t find anything worth buying although, I really like the store. So, last time I shopped
a lot from Bershka. The last time we were at Oxford Street,
I bought two pair of pants from there. Maybe because the collection was the same. Yes, that’s why I didn’t buy
anything but you did, right? Yes, I returned something
and bought new things. She returned her foil jacket…
Foil jacket, right? Shivesh used to call me
a burrito in that jacket. He said you looked like
a burrito wrapped in a foil. So, she returned that jacket
and she bought some more things. After Bershka, I shopped
from Urban Outfitters. -What did you buy?
-A pair of cargo pants. You know how much I paid?
40 pounds! You know,
I’ve observed that back in India, I would think a hundred times before
buying pants worth 4000 rupees. But when it comes to pounds I think,
“Maybe 40 isn’t that big a deal.” -But it is! 40 is too much!
-It is too much. “A hundred pains to endure…” -How many?
-“A hundred, something…” “I got everything I wanted…” “Except for a band-aid” You want a band-aid? -For my shoe bite.
-Aww! After Urban Outfitters,
we’re here at Primark. Or London’s “Sarojini Nagar,”
as Kritika would call it. Because everything here is
really affordable and cheap. And the styles are very good as well. We’re going to try and
find something which is… -We’ll show you around.
-We’ll show you around… and we’ll try and find some things
that are at least a bit good quality. -A bit!
-Just a little bit! I’m not expecting too much, though. “Take it or leave it, buddy!” Alright, let’s check it out. That’s a lot, don’t you think? I can’t travel in the tube
with these bags, man! Shivesh! You shopped way
more than us! Guts! -You think all this will fit in the cab?
-No way! We’ll have to skip the tube. So, it’s almost 10:00
and we’re done with our shopping. We both just got back from Primark
however, we didn’t shop much. -We just bought pajamas and night suits.
-Yeah. -I also bought a night suit for myself.
-Oh, cool! Primark has a variety of things! From a rubber band, to home appliances? Home appliances, beauty… Beauty, makeup, clothes, night wear, everything under the sun.
Even power banks! I bought one for myself -because my phone was dying.
-The Harry Potter one, right? -Not the Harry Potter one?
-No. So, guys, I’m back from my shopping spree
and it was so much fun. It was a very last-minute shopping spree and I didn’t end up buying
a lot of things. But irrespective of that, all the
things I did discover were quite fun. Like Topshop, Bershka, Urban Outfitters were brands that I’ve
never shopped from before or I’ve never explored before. Even Primark!
Before coming to London I didn’t even know about
the existence of Primark but it was quite fun, irrespective. Firstly, I bought these cargo pants
from Urban Outfitters. They’re quite expensive.
They’re like 4,000 rupees probably. But I bought these
thinking about the long run. I’ll continue wearing them for
at least a year or two, or three. The next thing I really liked
were these shoes from Topshop. They’re very nice and dressy. I tried them on with my jeans
and they’re only worth 20 pounds. That’s around 2,000 rupees.
Actually, a little less than that. Besides that,
I also picked up some souvenirs because I’m planning to do an
Instagram giveaway for you guys. So, there’s like a diary and a bamboo mug. If you don’t already follow me,
you can find me on Instagram. Also, my experience of
using these headphones the entire day was quite a lot of fun. I was in the tube when I noticed
the first thing about these headphones. It was quite noisy in the tube
because the tube was underground and there was this
screeching sound underground. So, because of the active noise
cancellation mode of these headphones I had a very seamless
experience of hearing the music. Besides that,
there’s also the transparency mode. Like, of you’re walking down the street
and you want to hear the ambient sound there’s transparency mode, so along
with the music, you can hear the street and the sound of passersby,
and all of that. I loved the smart touch-and-talk feature. If I am talking to my friends, I can
just touch the left side of this cup and the music is going to stop playing. And the one thing that
I absolutely hate is if I have to manually go ahead and pause
my music in between switching activities. For example, getting down the tube,
or when I am shopping, I find it very annoying if I have to
take out my phone and pause the music. So, because of the auto pause-play feature if I am listening to music
and I just take them off like this the music is going to pause on its own. So, these are some features
that I personally loved. And if you guys wanna check these out,
they’re quite good quality and I enjoyed listening to music and
audio on these, quite a lot. And enjoyed the shopping experience,
enjoyed the music, and I got to play it
my way the entire day! With this, I’ll see you next time
with another travel vlog… hopefully. And we’ll have fun
on our next travel series. Alright, guys!
