“How to Get on the First Page of Google in 24 Hours.” While making this blog post for you, I decided to create this video session to show you what I try to share with you on this blog post. Let’s login to our search console because I’ll actually walk you through instead of talking about it. You press on the verified property in Search Console to bring out search analytics information. Looking at what you’re seeing for your website, Google is going to show you what people searched for, how many clicks you got… Impressions is… let’s say… “how to get on top of Google in 24 hours.” “How to get on the first page of Google in 24 hours.” Let’s press on this little triangle icon to see where we are at. Currently, this particular web page is lingering as you can see down somewhere on the middle of the page. Now what I can do is I can press on “Edit Post.” This is a WordPress, but if you’re using Magento or any other content management system, same principles should apply for you as well. Now what I can do… To increase the click-through rates, I need to work on the title. The title is what is shown here. Looking at this, let’s imagine that your results are on the second page and yet you want to come on the first page now, so what you can do is you can re-optimize the page. Google is already ranking you for… perhaps on the 4th–on average–4th position 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and so on, to move them up, so that you get better click-through rates. Now that’s one method. Another method is this: Looking at this, let me press on the keyword itself because now I see different data here and let me also press on Pages. Now Google is saying this is the page that I’m getting some clicks, but I’m lingering on the fourth position. Now the second method that I can follow is now, I can create a similar and yet different content still targeting these keywords a bit more precisely now So there is two ways to increase your rankings using this method One is you re-optimize the pages Google is already ranking you high in its results in. Second is you can, if you want, say “OK, you know what? I’m already ranking for that Web page but now I want to create a new page and precisely target the keywords people are searching… which in this case is this. Now… Once I do this–create the post– answer the question that people are looking for–in this example: how to get on the first page of Google in 24 hours. Once the content is published, then Google has to be aware of this content or else it won’t rank me. It won’t rank this page Now if you’re not using sharing buttons then you definitely need to explore that option because ideally, right now, what you want is you want to go ahead… As soon as you publish that new content go to Google+, share the link back to that page. If you’re maintaining social media profiles like Facebook, then do the same thing for Facebook as well. And that is within your control to do. It only takes you two or three clicks. Now that is why social media marketing is critical because, right now, if you build your social media profiles, your followers will end up sharing that blog post that you created or a webpage [that you created. At the end of the day, right now, Google must be aware of this new content that I want to rank within 24 hours. Two or three clicks sharing it externally will definitely make Google come and crawl that page very quickly because it follows links. Now you use this method targeting long-tail keywords and this is how you do it. It is very simple. Instead of targeting new keywords, focus on the ones that you’re already ranking for. Make sense? Like Google is already valuing your site as far as relevance is concerned and that’s how it’s done. I thank you very much for learning with me.
