Other than that, I won’t tell you that this is a car performance like a supercar despite the fact that it has been modified by BMW’s m-performance department and equipped with an incredible engine, It is obvious that it can never be as fast as a sports car If I talk about performance I’ll be making a comparison with the overall performance in the SUV world, in the world of heavier and bigger cars than normal sedans! With this optional the rear of the car is more precise and agile in urban routes, while they manage to increase the feeling of safety and support of the car when you walk the roads in suburban areas. The variable active steering is a little bit heavy but it can communicate well with the front axle of the BMW X6. The M-sport brake system with 4 self-ventilated discs is characterized by an excellent power and an excellent modulation of the brake pedal. I like the behavior of this BMW X6 on the road with a soft and delicate character when you’re travelling in comfort mode while pressing on the button SPORT the suspensions become stiffer and the active roll stabilization becomes much more pronounced, and despite the size of the car, this BMW X6 offers a discreet driving pleasure, especially when compared to other SUVs. Let us remember that this car, if it had been built 20 years ago, would not have been able to have the same dynamism. Good job BMW No news even about the gearbox. We find on this BMW X6 the well-known ZF eight-speed automatic, called Steptronic, which is famous for being always quickly and efficiently. Discussions about the new X6 could be about aesthetic design, and I’ll tell you that I prefer the design of the X5, but one thing you can’t argue about is the quality of the interior equipped on my car all the latest technologies of BMW: I refer to the latest infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connected in wi-fi with automatic reverse for the last 50 meters. On my car there are the seats with massage function, heated, cooled headlights with high beam fullLed laser, 360-degree system of cameras, heated and cooled cup holder head up display and all the latest security systems (ADAS) To make a comparison, to show you how well the security systems on this X6 work, I can assure you that I found them more efficient and sweet than the ones I used on tesla Model X and S ( I speak mainly about adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking ) last but not least, on board there is the second-tier driver assistant fuel consumption, prices and general defects As also in the X5 video, despite the weight of the car, BMW has done a great job of efficiency on these new diesel engines so I was able to obtain an average consumption of about 14-15 km/l normally using the car mainly in suburban whereas you can move well simply by just touching the gas pedal (thanks to torque) consumption is 10-12 km/l if you drive quietly in the city. If you drive like mad madmen it is right that the consumption will be around 6-8 km/l but it’s normal for an engine with this torque and power! Let’s talk about prices. To buy a BMW X6 you have to spend at least 80,000 € for the diesel with 265 horsepower, the car I am using costs 105.000 €, to which you will have to add the cost of every single optional that you will go to buy from an endless list Now let’s talk about the defects of this car. The big speaker of the audio system, located in the center of the dashboard, was built in a better way than what I found on board the BMW X5. I found the same buttons that did not convince me in the last BMW. This is Because their construction makes them difficult to press (and maybe a little little bit cheap). Last point, the trunk is smaller than the BMW X5 (the capacity is now 580 liters) but above all the space for the rear seats has been reduced due to the coupe shape of the car It is a problem of space at the knee level but especially at the head (only if you are tall people).
