I just removed all the fragments from my project as I kept getting memory leak and replaced fragments with activity and now I don't have any memory leak. Is Google trying to say use fragments for following Single Activity Principle. I am confused?

Please answer me !!! How to create an Android app's event ???
I am also trying to migrate my app to a single activity. But I faced many problems1. There is no fragment equivalent of Searchable activity2. We need to implement multiple navHost for implementing bottom Navigation. Because each tab of bottom Navigation needs separate back states.
How to do a UI test for single Activity with many fragments?

Today, spending most of my time researching Single Activity VS Multiple Activity Development. Jr. Developer here. Studied Multi-Activity Development. Everyone I have learned from and/talked to use Multi-Activity development. Over the past 2 years, I have only seen and learned Fragments to be used as a UI choice to guide users through multiple choices and not as an app structure. I am teaching myself today Single Activity VS Multiple Activity Development. I like what he said at the end of the video 5:30 that if you're using Multi-Activity development and it works, stick with it. But if you're running into issues and bugs then to use Single Activity development. I have never ran into issues or bugs that made me think "Fragments will solve all of this." I don't get it. All this extra code to add Fragments, being careful to make sure a Fragment doesn't leak data to another Fragment or Activity before it is closed, creating all these loops to jump through, when I can just create a straightforward Activity for screens users go to. When I see people using Single Activity development, they have to do double the work to get things communicating the right away.
I will keep researching but so far it seems like Single Activity is way too delicate. Anyone have good resources for Single Activity Development? If I ever work for a company that uses strictly Single Activity Development I want to be able to be ready to work with it. Thanks!
What does he mean by use multiple tasks when appropriate? He didn't really elaborate on it.
I love this music
Conceptually Fragments are awesome but practically it's lot more irritating while handling esp Backstack….
