德国总理“铁娘子”默克尔曾说，许多关于她个人的报道总是会提到她的丈夫和继子，这让她很恼火。因为他只是个教授，这种行为让他的名字人尽皆知，这太糟糕了。因此关于“德国第一家庭”的秘辛他人知之甚少。26日，默克尔和丈夫约阿希姆·绍尔(Joachim Sauer，60岁)和继子丹尼尔·绍尔(Daniel Sauer，35岁)首次一起出席参加拜伊罗特著名的里夏德·瓦格纳音乐节(Richard-Wagner-Festspiele)，此举引起媒体极大关注。

 

　　这位德国“第一丈夫”任教于柏林洪堡大学化学系，他向来以行事低调、严谨治学著称，并且很少在公众场合路面。自妻子默克尔上任以来，他几乎不接受媒体的任何访问，不评论妻子的执政行为，也很少和默克尔一起出席公开活动。
